What began with a simple, heartfelt “thank you” became the foundation for something much greater than I initially imagined.
Early in my journey, I realized that the work I was providing extended far beyond cleaning. A well-cared-for home can restore a sense of peace. A professionally maintained workplace can improve the way people feel and function. And sometimes, helping someone care for their space can make a meaningful difference in their quality of life.
That realization helped shape Mi Leone Home.
As founder and owner, I have worked to build Mi Leone Home around a straightforward principle: professional service should combine exceptional workmanship with genuine care for the people being served.
Today, Mi Leone Home provides comprehensive residential and commercial services throughout Covington, Newton County, East Metro East Metro Atlanta and surrounding communities. Our work includes routine and deep cleaning, move-in/move-out services, short-term rental turnovers, post-renovation cleaning, carpet care, specialized commercial cleaning, and other property-care solutions designed to make maintaining a home, rental property, or business easier.
I remain actively involved in the company and committed to maintaining the standards on which Mi Leone Home was built. Attention to detail, accountability, accessibility, integrity, and respect are not simply words used in our marketing—they are principles that guide how we serve.
That philosophy is also reflected in our commitment to personalized service. Every property is different, and every client has different priorities. Rather than approaching service as one-size-fits-all, we strive to understand what each client actually needs and provide solutions appropriate for their home, business, schedule, and circumstances.
From Business to Community Impact
As Mi Leone Home has grown, so has my vision for what service can accomplish.
That vision led to the development of the Mi Leone Community Home Initiative, Inc., a separate nonprofit initiative being established to extend the spirit of service beyond our commercial work.
The initiative is designed to help low-income seniors, adults with disabilities, veterans, caregivers, and families experiencing financial hardship maintain safer, cleaner, and more stable homes. Its planned programs include free or subsidized cleaning and sanitation services, minor safety repairs, accessibility improvements, and practical home-care education.
The Mi Leone Community Home Initiative is being developed as an independent nonprofit organization, separate from Mi Leone Home, with its own governance and charitable mission. As the organization develops and seeks federal 501(c)(3) recognition, the goal is to build partnerships with individuals, businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders who share the belief that everyone deserves to live in a home that is safe, sanitary, and treated with dignity.
For me, the connection between these two missions is simple: A home is more than a property. It is where life happens.
Whether Mi Leone Home is serving a paying client, helping a property owner protect an investment, preparing a short-term rental for its next guest, maintaining a professional facility, or the Community Home Initiative is assisting someone experiencing hardship, the underlying commitment remains the same:
